Focusing on why your body won’t heal (or lose weight) prevents you from actually healing your body (and losing weight).
It’s super easy to play the Blame Game.
At our jobs.
In our relationships
With our health.
It’s easy to look at all the things that are going wrong with our bodies and place blame on the doctors that don’t know what they’re doing, the meds that just aren’t cutting it, the partner/job/kid/friend who isn’t supporting you in the right way, and say that these are the causes of your poor health.
That’s the easy thing to do… to wallow in frustration, discomfort, and blame.
But none of that will help you.
Instead, take that energy and turn it into something positive like becoming your own best advocate.
Do research about new techniques.
Take your medications as directed.
Seek out second opinions.
Do the ‘little’ things (like drinking water, getting sleep, and reducing stress) that really help a lot.
Choose to focus on the positives so you can boost your mood.
Spend your time doing the things that can ACTUALLY heal your body rather than agonizing over the things that are CAUSING the problems.
Like a car. You don’t focus on why the car has run out of gas, you go to the gas station and fill ‘er right up. You focus on the solutions, not the problems.

Same goes for your health.
Whether it’s a chronic illness, weight loss, or anything else, focus on how to FIX and heal the problem rather than on what is CREATING the problem.
This will move you far further into a healthier future than staying stuck being angry about how you got to where you are right now.
