“Oh, it’s just your hormones.”
Ever heard that one? Maybe you’ve even muttered it under your breath or said it to a friend?
As women, we’re conditioned to believe that painful cycles, frequent mood swings, bloating, discomfort, sleeplessness, insomnia, weight gain, etc., etc., are all a part of ‘woman-life’.
We blow things off and say, it’s just your hormones.
And yea, it probably is.
But it’s probably your hormones being out of balance. It’s probably your body trying to TELL you something. And in that case, it’s probably not JUST your hormones.
Let’s stop normalizing symptoms.
Periods shouldn’t suck.
Perimenopause and menopause don’t have to be terrible.
If your hormones are in balance, those symptoms you’re used to experiencing won’t be so bad.
If you’re fully healthy because you’ve adopted a hormone-friendly nutrition and exercise program, cycles should come and go, aging should be something to enjoy, and life should feel pretty good.
You don’t have to suffer. You don’t have to feel like crap all the time. There is a better way!
Do you think you may be suffering from hormonal imbalances? Drop your question in the comments and let’s talk about it!
