The face I make when women tell me they don’t want to get too muscular.
For whatever crazy reason, a lot of women think that if they start lifting anything more than 5-10lb weights, they will instantly turn into an Olympic Bodybuilder with a chiseled jaw and biceps bigger than their husband could ever grow.
I’m not sure where this came from or why, but let me tell you this, lifting heavy-for-you weights will NOT make you look ‘too big’.
What lifting weights WILL do is help you look more ‘toned’, which is what most women tell me they want to achieve.
Hours of cardio will not give you the lean look you crave.
Hours of cardio will not give you flat abs.
Hours of cardio will not stop the wiggle-jiggle arms.
What hours of cardio will do, is leave you tired, frustrated, and likely still pretty soft in areas that probably could be a lot more firm if you had spent some of that time lifting weights, instead!
So, tell me, what is it that keeps you chained to the treadmill and far away from the weights?
Because honestly, it’s likely that the look you want will only be achieved by hitting the free-weights side of the gym and the longer you put that off, the longer you’re putting off finally achieving your goals, too!
