The problem isn’t ‘time management’, the problem is LACK OF HONESTY.
Settle in, it’s time for your regular installment of Tough Love with Tina!
I get it. Time is limited. We’re ALL busy. Everyone has a lot on their plate, especially now. We all have more priorities than we’d like to count. And yes, those priorities vary from person to person and from season to season.
But what shouldn’t vary? Being extremely honest with yourself about those priorities.
It’s 100% okay to have priorities other than nutrition, fitness, or your overall health.
I have tons of priorities: my marriage, our son, our pug, my friends, but I also prioritize my health, nutrition, and exercise.
And if I don’t want things to fall off the map, I have to plan for them. That means I have to intentionally plan and phase my nutrition and my fitness so that it can be a priority.
You have to sit and ask yourself, is it really important to you? If so, then you’ve GOT to make time for it. Period.
You can’t say you’re prioritizing losing weight, but never make time to get to the gym or prep your meals.
Be real.
Be honest.
Not having time isn’t a great reason for not getting after your results.
If it’s truly a priority, then you HAVE to be intentional about it.
Schedule it in, add an alarm to your phone, create a routine around it so you don’t forget or run out of time.
If you want to prioritize your health, nutrition, and fitness, you have to prioritize it.
That’s it.
Are you struggling to make nutrition, fitness, and health a priority? Perhaps it’s an honesty thing? Take a moment to strip away the excuses and really look at what is holding you back from your goals…you just might surprise yourself! #peptalk
