Worried about making the ‘wrong’ decision? Read this post!
If you’re feeling anxiety or stress over deciding what to eat, wondering whether you’re tracking your macros properly, or are worried if your workouts are actually working, you’re not alone.
It’s not a matter of making the ‘right’ decision every single time, it’s about learning, improving, and figuring out what works best for you. Because what works for you might not be what works for someone else. Finding that perfect balance is key.
Without trying, without ‘messing up’ sometimes, you’ll never figure things out.
Every time you try, you get better, and you build self-trust and confidence. These are the two most important things in combating doubt.
When I first started tracking macros, I always questioned if I was doing something wrong…selecting the correct entry from MFP, weighing and measuring, going over on carbs or fat…I made mistakes but over time I learned from them, grew my confidence, and even started trying new things to manipulate my macros to work for me!
Now I trust myself. I have confidence in my ability to create meals that match my goals and I know exactly what I need to do to be at my best.
Don’t let worry or anxiety around being ‘perfect’ keep you from taking action, learning, and improving.
Trust yourself.
What is your biggest worry when it comes to your nutrition or fitness choices?
